Right off the bat, I will say that this version of the game is the best of the series thus far, but still doesn't live up to what I want in a wrestling game. It comes close, but not quite. The good things I have to say are, that they've made the game look a hell of alot better, with all the videos being in high def, and Create A Wrestler has both improved and fallen back a step. This year also marks a really nifty Highlight Reel addition that allows you to convert your Highlight Reel videos into actual Entrance Vids for your character. There is also a story designer in it that I haven't had alot of time to play with just yet, as I've been busy working on my roster. My gripes, since I don't like repeating myself, I've posted on THQ's SvR 2010 Forum right here - community.smackdownvsraw.com/forums/topic/5447- Now as I said in a reply on that forum page, it is as easy to be the best game in the Smackdown vs. Raw series as it is to pistol whip a blind kid. This game does, however, come closest to recapturing the spirit they had with WWF No Mercy on the N64. A little tweaking to the AI, a ton of tweaking to the Create-A-Wrestler, and a more open stat-perks system would go a long ways to make this the premier wrestling title around.

I've had a lot of fun with this and am about an hour's work away from getting 1000/1000 MS achievement points. Made Curt Olsen virtually invincible and a storyline inspired by the Bridge of Death scene in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
By the way, the Royal Rumble is awesome now.

Oh yes, the Rumble is actually PLAYABLE for a change, although my arm was almost as tired as the torture seen in the original Metal Gear Solid by the time I finished. I managed to start from the unlucky number of 1.
My main issues are stuff that's not been fixed since they broke it to begin with, like alot of stuff in CAS mode, and the additional crap they broke in an effort to make the CAS mode seem more sophisticated than it should be.
