Welcome DCWL Enthusiasts,
Julianne Moore here again, we are coming off of the heels of, "Drink Black Hole Brew." Speaking of which, you can call me a simple girl, I don't mind it too much. It may not taste great, but it's cheap and does the trick...
...Anyway...
The show saw some surprises, some excitement, and some disappointment. Lets kick this off, shall we?
"The Question" Doug Foster v. Brian Irwin
Not much to say, Irwin continues his struggles and the newly dubbed, "Chairman Of Pain" or is it, "Coward Of Pain" Doug Foster got the victory. Foster wasn't flashy or anything, but he got the job done.
After the match Leon Corella attacked Foster with a Sledgehammer, I wasn't in great favor of this..Yeah, I know what some of you are thinking. Before you continue those thoughts, Thompson's attack on Beckson had a true purpose. Not just revenge...While, I wasn't distraught to see Foster get what's coming to him, I just think he should of took care of it differently. Especially, with Foster having this Security Detail and Cassandra Whitmore behind him.
Lets not forgot the post Whitmore made on her blog, saying the five would be at the next SOW Sundown to teach Corella a lesson, I guess we'll see what happens.
Then we heard that the NJWF will have a team in the Ark Of The...Yeah the Trio tournament. Marcus Davis' brother is on the team as a Young Lion, it should be interesting to see how they fare.
With every team able to choose a free agent to replace a member of their team. There could be some interesting things occurring.
SIRENS CHAMPIONSHIP: Sierra Browne v. Gabrielle RioPaah
Sierra Brown's technique just outclassed Gabrielle, she just looks unbeatable. If I remember correctly, only Molly Malatov has survived her Truth Superkick. I have heard rumors of a certain someone in Japan being interested in facing Brown if her streak continues.
Afterward, it looked like Thompson and Corella buried problems between them. Something I enjoyed seeing...
TRIOS CHAMPIONSHIP: Unique Element v. The New Main Street Killas
Unique Element looked impressive, I think they have to be the favorites in the trios tournament. They controlled NMSK for a good portion of the match. I thought it was hilarious to see Killa celebrate only to turn right into Aaron Wilson and a, "Wilson Just Planted You" Reverse Russian Legsweep and then getting pinned.
Afterward, Horror Show showed up and NMSK stole the Trio's Championship from Unique Element....
Somehow....
...Just Somehow....
...I Think...
...Scratch That...
....KNOW...
That This Will Turn Out Badly for Killa. He has worse luck than the Nazi does when he tries to get laid...
Anywho...
Kevin Alloy and Maurice Thompson then had a heated argument. Where we found out that due to protests, the DCWL lost it's venues for 2010. Alloy; unsurprisingly, did not take any blame for the matter...
Such A Tool.
I'm all for Thompson in this, and so is the majority of people following online. The kid is becoming quite popular.
"Dark Angel" Joshua Curtis v. The Great Atma
Dark Angel won, who guessed that? Yeah...no surprises here. Atma didn't wrestle anywhere near as well as he has. I didn't for a moment feel Curtis was in danger of losing the match.
Then we heard from Mike Anderson, Mr. I Got My Ass Kicked By Marcus Davis And Got A Lucky Roll Up. Saying how great he is, I can't wait for him to get his ego handed to him. He also gets the treatment...
Such A Tool.
Then we saw the Nazi attempt to get Corella to wrestle Jerome. This is where it gets disappointing, what was his mother THINKING?!? Why on earth would she EVER allow Jerome to travel with that piece of crap?! Did I miss a memo or something? That was insane, I have lost respect for her, and hope she realizes how ridiculous she is...
This would end up with a guy I was unfamiliar with in Big Mike Foyer taking on Corella, beating up Corella, and then some, and then some, and some more. Corella did fight back, but Foyer looked like a monster. The worst part is that Corella looked to be on his game, he got Foyer in trouble and just couldn't solve Foyer.
I was shocked when Foyer beat Corella, Foyer is a beast. Imagine he and Sam Smith banging heads.
We then were shown clips from Sundown, specifically Rafaello Rossini and his comments saying he would allow DCWL to send over an opponent to receive the first SOW Championship match.
It was then announced to be Mad Cow, who will definitely give James O'Connor more than he can handle.
Kevin Alloy v. Maurice Thompson
Dominated early by Thompson, then Alloy took over and hit Thompson with everything he could even a Release German Suplex to the outside. Thompson just wouldn't stay down. He took two Last Trips To Tulsa, after the last Alloy bolted from the ring.
After a commercial break Blaze caught up with Alloy who effectively quit because he was tired of, "babysitting."
...Hmm...
Kevin Alloy is a fool, I'm glad he's gone he's such a crybaby. What good did he ever do the DCWL? When someone has an answer for that, please inform me.
DANGEROUS CHAMPIONSHIP: Derrick L. Ford v. Mario Speedwagon
Ford looked really good in this match. While he has a victory over Thompson, I feel he is a step below the Thompson's, Corella's, and even guys like Mad Cow in overall skill.
Then we heard something puzzling, that Corella picked an already worn Mike Foyer to face the Nazi. Not the wisest of decisions, he could have gotten any wrestler in the world and you mean to tell me he had nobody selected coming into the show. I heavily doubt they would have sat in the back after coming to South Dakota to watch someone that had already wrestled.
Just didn't seem to be the most intelligent decision, and was very anti climatic.
Nike Foyer v. Nazi
They beat each other down and it was the first time I've seen the Nazi visibly hurt during his time in DCWL. But, his...Burning Hammer knocked out Foyer. This may be the second person to receive a concussion after that move. We all remember Kid Way Cool who got blasted.
Foyer's neck was contorted, and I definitely think he's a little injured.
We then saw a video for a returning team to the DCWL, if I have my sources correct...Could it be the return of The Hype? I'm not sure, but who knows?
8-MAN TAG: Mike Anderson, Logan Braddock, Ozzie Emshamo, Drake Tungsten v. Mad Cow, American Freebear, The Big Nasty, Max Turbo
The first thirty minutes were impressive, especially watching Mike Anderson getting thrown around. Drake and Freebear just decided to not make a tag for the last thirty minutes.
The match lasted an hour and ended in a draw. Surprisingly, Kid Way Cool hit the ring and blasted an exhausted Drake in the back of the head with his IQPD...IIPPD...You know that kick to the back of the head that knocked Drake out.
This lead to Unique Element, NMSK, Horrorshow, Alton West, and a few others running out and ending the show in a huge brawl.
Moore Notes
Leon Corella faces the Nazi at Ark Of The Tri...Yeah, the next DCWL show for the Grand Championship. This will be a huge match and if Leon Corella can obtain victory he will make himself a big star among the many Civil Rights and other organizations that are following Maurice Thompson.
He is struggling, but that all can be solved with this victory. I'm pulling for him.
What Moore Wants
Two consecutive shows without Dan Clear polluting wrestling with his ignorance.
Mike Anderson to face Big Nasty (And Lose)
Have I mentioned a Tag Team Division?
Kevin Alloy to stay gone.
Me to be interviewed for Kevin Alloy's old job.
For Kyle Haden to have gotten the hint and be a strong leader in DCWL.
Thank You Everyone,
Remember...
Mike Anderson Sucks
Peace!
