History and/or Personality: Max Turbo is the real life counterpart of the titular character from the inexplicably popular animated television series, "Go! Max Turbo!". His working relationship with the DCWL began when then-parent company Demented Creations, Ltd. obtained the North American distribution rights to the Go! Max Turbo! action figure line and brought Max over from Japan in order to hype the North American premeire of Go! Max Turbo! III: Trial By Air, however the wrestling promotion went into hiatus before the marketing campaign could begin. While Demented Creations, Ltd.now maintains ownership rights of the action figure line, cartoon, comic books, etc., Turbo's wrestling contract was with the Demented Creations Wrestling League, currently known as Dehydrated Cacti Wrestling League, granting the promotion itself the sole rights to use Max Turbo as a wrestling gimmick. Kinda like how both Marvel and DC have a character named Captain Marvel. Weird.
TITLES HELD:
- DCWL Dangerous Champion - (d. B.A. Jive) August 12, 2009 - September 23, 2009
- Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Award for favorite wrestler.
Quotes:
"Many in life it are two-sided. Such may is that honor of victory,
so it too become that honor on defeat!"
"I is it so that one have become dragon!"
(That would be based on the concept that Max Turbo's subtitles are a complete garbled mess, and none of these guys ever give a real interview.)
