Handler Name/Aliases: Andrew
Contact info (e-mail, AIM, etc.): ajhenry2383 @ yahoo.com
Team Name: The Horrorshow
Team Concept: Three competitors, all dangerous in their own right, who are sick and tired of their names/gimmicks being hijacked by "unimaginitive, narrow-minded" bookers. They are given cartoony horror gimmicks that all but rule out advancement in whatever league they might call home. Though they've only just met, their propensity towards violence and thrills make them perfect complements. (Individual Character Bios below)
Team Theme: "Die Dead Enough" by Megadeth: www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9I1lekiU1M
Character Name: Joe Pansac
Nicknames: "The Deadman"
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 275
D.O.B.: 5/12/78
HOMETOWN: Glassboro, NJ
Character Alignment (face, heel, tweener, bear, etc.): Violent face leaning tweener
Physical Description: The caucasian Pensac is a largeish man built along the lines of Mick Foley. His shoulderlength scraggly brown hair frames a pale face with brown eyes. The pale makeup and dust previously associated with the character were used to cover up scars on the forehead and along the arms (though they're covered up as described below).
RING ATTIRE (colors, textures, accessories, etc): Though he's ditched the dust, the deadman still wears his old attire to the ring - long sleeve grey flannel shirt, black pants and black wrestling boots.
SIGNIFICANT PERSONALITY STRENGTH(S):
-WELL SPOKEN: Free from gimmick restrictions, a reasonably intelligent individual emerges.
-RESILIANT: VERY hard to put down and keep down. .
-AMICABLE: Outside of the ring, is generally pleasant and has a quirky humor about him. People tend to like him.
SIGNIFICANT PERSONALITY WEAKNESS(ES):
- CARELESS: Little regard for self or others in the ring. The flipside to "hardcore"
- SELF-RIGHTEOUS: Though generally amicable, the Deadman can be a prick when it comes to management saddling wrestlers with crappy gimmicks.
- SENSITIVE: Though only about his zombie days. See point 2, but increased due to personal experience.
THIS CHARACTER WRESTLES LIKE: Mick Foley
Finisher: "Your name for the move" (real name of move): Deadman Drop (Top Rope Brainbuster)
Secondary Finisher: Running Powerbomb
Other Noteworthy Moves: Anything you've got for a hardcore brawler. Biting (particularly near the head), hangman's neckbreaker, DDT, running splash into the corner, sleeper hold, katihajime, brainbuster
Entrance Theme (with a link to MP3 or Youtube video):
Team Theme: "Die Dead Enough" by Megadeth: www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9I1lekiU1M
History and/or Personality: Old DCWL fans will remember Joe Pansac as the affable zombie half of the "Brains n Chains" express. He'd cover himself in dust, stumble out and yell something about brains. The crowd would pop and go home happy.
Fans of other indie promotions, however, remember Joe Pansac a little differently. Well spoken, quirky, but very violent. Joe's actually somewhat of an underground deathmatch legend. His scars along his face and arms tell the stories of long ago battles. Pansac's reckless style, coupled with his tenacity and refusal to stay down, earned him the nickname "Deadman." No North American promotion would touch him unless he toned down his act, which he did as a favor to his friend B.A. Jive.
He threw himself into the comic zombie character with gusto, looking to take over the DCWL's tag division. When this didn't happen, Pansac vowed never to return to that stereotype again and to help others in similar predicaments. With Brains N Chains now history, the reckless, dangerous Deadman returns.
Quotes: "Don't mess with the Deadman, or I'll put you six feet under."
NAME: "Something Better" Wolf Masterson
HOMETOWN: St. Paul, Minnesota
HEIGHT (feet & inches): 6' 0"
WEIGHT (pounds/lbs): 225 lbs.
BIRTHDATE (MM-DD-YYYY): Jun-03-1980
PERSONALITY (in lieu of face/heel):
[X] Taoist (fun above all, thrill-seeking) [RVD, Rey Mysterio]
GIMMICK IN ONE OR TWO SENTENCES: Talented showoff and partier who is taken under Pansac's wing.
REASON FOR CHARACTER BEING IN WRESTLING IN ONE OR TWO SENTENCES: Deep down, Masterson has always wanted to be famous, so appealing to the love of the fans is a huge attraction.
BRIEF BIOGRAPHY: (100-300 words): The sixth of eight children, Peter Wolfe-Masterson learned how to draw attention to himself. His decision to enter wrestling in the midst of the industry boom in the late 90s proved to be a good decision, as the major companies were clamoring to bring him on board. However, a combination of inexperience and a serious "me first" attitude led to him making a great many enemies.
While this stigma is generally well deserved, his dismissal from several promotions was tied to Masterson's unwillingness to portray a werewolf (as a pun on his stage name). As a result, he was virtually black-balled from North America for his behavior (but still on the radar because of his in-ring ability and endless quotability). Stints in Japan and Europe followed while he waited for a North American promoter to take a chance on him.
The DCWL obliged, though they too made the mistake of trying to put Masterson in wolf's clothing. His stubborn refusal, and his talent, caught the eye of Joe Pansac, who promised to take the young man under his wing. Masterson's athleticism is the key to the team and, with the Deadman and Mina Eyre in his corner, he may finally have the guidance needed to put that talent to good use.

Character Name: Mina Eyre
Nicknames: "The Vamp"
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 155
D.O.B.: 9-3-86
HOMETOWN: Evanston, IL
Character Alignment (face, heel, tweener, bear, etc.): Principled Tweener
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE (build, hair, body art, etc. Link to a picture if it helps.): Black hair with a silver streak, pale complexion,
RING ATTIRE (colors, textures, accessories, etc): Long black pants with a silver upside-down triangle (a V shape) on each leg. Black low cut tank top. Black fingerless gloves on both hands.
SIGNIFICANT PERSONALITY STRENGTH(S):
-LOYAL: To the Deadman, specifically, but never forgets a friend. Is willing to stick her neck out for those she cares (at all) for.
-ONE OF THE BOYS: Mina is not intimidated by the lack of other females in the DCWL. She will hold her own with the guys inside and outside of the ring.
SIGNIFICANT PERSONALITY WEAKNESS(ES):
-SENSITIVE: Very. About many things, from her last name to the "bimbos" employed by so many other federations.
-HOLIER THAN THOU: Sort of a spinoff on the first one. Will get on high horse about issues like those mentioned above.
THIS CHARACTER WRESTLES LIKE: Victoria (pre-injuries)
Finisher: "Kiss of the Vamp" (Diamond Dust)
Secondary Finisher: Dragon sleeper
Other Noteworthy Moves: Back brain kick, Tarantula, High Angle Boston Crab (Original Walls of Jericho), Low Blow, Tornado DDT, Missle dropkick, figure four sleeper
Entrance Theme (with a link to MP3 or Youtube video): Haunted by Evanescence - www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rU0hep3GBY
History and/or Personality: Mina Eyre is a young woman with a bright future in wrestling. Talented, athletic, somewhat charismatic, above average looks...she seems to have it all. Wanting what she refers to as a "kick ass nickname," she found a word suitible for a femme fatale like herself - A Vamp.
Unfortunately, this one decision has stunted her development. Promoters took one look at her nickname, last name, pale skin, and silver streaked hair and all came to the same conclusion - this young lady should break in as a wrestling Vampire. Mina did not appreciate the idea, railing against the sheer stupidity of a wrestling vampire coupled with the mispronunciation of her last name to fit the gimmick (for the record, it rhymes with "hair"). The promoters saw a young talent refusing to do a gimmick, dismissed her as a prima-donna, and sought for women's talent elsewhere.
It was during one of these stints that she met up with an (understandably) sympathetic Joe Pansac. Joe has taken the young lass under his wing, showing her how to make it as herself and to use the crappy gimmick as a motivational tool. The two have become close friends, deciding to enter the DCWL as part of a trio. When they found Wolf Masterson, it was obvious they had found a perfect fit.
